Fall Season At Santa Monica Swim Center Starting

SANTA MONICA—On Saturday, August 17, the city of Santa Monica posted on its Facebook page that the start of the fall season at the Santa Monica Swim Center will start on Monday, August 26.

The new fall season with the Santa Monica Swim Center’s updated lap and recreational swimming, and aquatics classes start on Monday, August 26.

With fall program hours and class offerings will allow individuals to stay public and discover new aquatic skills.

The city of Santa Monica Community Aquatics is an award-winning, community-serving program that serves Santa Monica across three different sites. It offers learn-to-swim classes, training programs, water aerobics classes, lap swim, and fun events for community members of all ages. Annual ‘WeHo Rec Expo’ Being Hosted

WEST HOLLYWOOD—On Monday, August 13, the city of West Hollywood announced that its Recreation Services Division will host its annual WeHo Rec Expo on Saturday, August 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Hollywood Park Aquatic and Recreation Center, located at 8750 El Tovar Place.

The Rec Expo is free and open to the public. There will be demos, giveaways, and activities for the entire family. Attendees can learn more about West Hollywood’s recreation programs and events for children, adults, and older adults.

There will be an 80s-themed Recreation Swim at the Aquatic Center. Reservations are required for this activity, as space is limited. To register for the themed Recreation Swim, visit www.weho.org/pool or call (323) 848-6308 for additional details.

First-come, first served parking will be available at the West Hollywood Park Five-Story Parking Structure, located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard, adjacent to West Hollywood Library.

Santa Monica Swim Center Fun Events

SANTA MONICA—Santa Monica events are about to kick-off. The Santa Monica Swim Center begins its hours of operation on Saturday, June 15.

Teen Nights will be held on Friday, June 21 and August 2 from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. There will be music, pizza, and other fun for teens. Family and Friends Splash Night will be held on July 12, 4-7 p.m. That event will have family-friendly entertainment, and sweet treats for all ages.
